Jonathon Canavan
Director
Jonathon established Hunta Property following a successful tenure with Australia's largest diversified property group, Stockland. Jonathon focused the Stockland business on a clear acquisition mandate and acquired strategic projects to develop industry leading Residential and Mixed Use projects.
At Stockland, Jonathon lead a team focused on the generation, identification and assessment of new opportunities. Stockland had clear intentions to re-enter the apartment market, and Jonathon was able to bring unprecedented deal flow to the business.
Prior to joining Stockland, Jonathon had acquired over 15 properties in under a three year period for Coronation Property, allowing a rapid growth and expansion of the company, capitalising on market conditions.
Having delivered 6 projects from inception to financial close, Jonathon has end-to-end experience that ensures he is aware of challenges that can be mitigated upfront during acquisition, and structure deals for optimum commercial outcomes.
Jonathon also enjoyed a successful 5-year tenure at Colliers International. As the only major property firm that had established a dedicated Residential Development team, Jonathon arranged and completed over 60 transactions of over $300m in value.During the GFC, Jonathon specialised in distressed assets on behalf of receivers and financial institutions, which included repositioning assets and arranging completion partners.
As one of the prominent property agents working exclusively with development sites, Jonathon had obtained a wide network of contacts for both identifying and disposing of development site assets. He continues to maintain many relationships with past colleagues and contacts and utilises these relationships to identify and acquire new projects for our clients.
Jin Low
Development Executive
Jin has extensive experience in the valuation industry, working at m3property and Knight Frank during his career. He is responsible for land acquisitions, directly interacting with proprietors across the market to service our client's development mandates.
At m3property, Jin was a Senior Valuer specialising in the Residential Development sector and achieved the status of Associate Member of the API as a Certified Practicing Valuer. His technical expertise has facilitated detailed valuation reports together with the highest and best used assessments; feasibility studies and pre-purchase due diligence for mortgage; acquisition and advisory purposes for project types. Ranging from boutique residential unit/townhouse developments, to high density mixed use residential apartment projects.
Jin also gained valuable experience in the Asian Market Division at Knight Frank Australia. He was part of the successful establishment of a tailored property service for offshore Asian investors whilst also assisting in the management of capital transactions.
Dimitri Lamb
Development Executive
With time spent at the government sector for Property NSW and CBRE, Dimitri brings to Hunta Property his vast experience working closely with clients in acquisitions and development management.
As a Major Project Coordinator at Property NSW, Dimitri was responsible for the strategic evaluation, management and delivery of large scale or complex real estate projectsincluding acquisitions and divestments with a combined value of over $500m.
Dimitri's role focused on adaptive re-use and value add strategies and development management such as project design, feasibility assessment, stakeholder consultation in technical disciplines, rezoning, pre-leasing and project management.
Dimitri also gained valuable experience at the Metropolitan Investment and Development division during his time at CBRE. He assisted the team in discovering new development site opportunities by analysing highest and best use options, pre-acquisition due diligence and capital transaction management for specific client mandates.
